Reflection from Micro-teaching 
Differentiated Instruction

In this meeting, my friends and I with Ms. Ine have a reflection about our micro-teaching. We shared our opinion about first micro-teaching that was held in the previous meeting. This is really good because from this reflection, I can learn something new about teaching and learning in the class. Now, I know and learn about the good preparation when I want to teach students in the class. I have to aware about any materials, technologies, and assignments and of course the assessment that I want to give for the students. I know this is a little part of teaching and learning process in the class, but this is really important because with a good preparation we can know the learning process will going smooth or not. That was my reflection of micro-teaching session in this subject.
From this meeting, I learned about new model of instructions beside of 4 models that I have learned in the previous meeting. The model named by differentiated instructions that consists of multiple intelligences and Bloom Taxonomy. I have understood about the multiple intelligences that contains of Verbal Linguistic, logical mathematics  visual spatial, and other intelligences. I have an explanation of Bloom Taxonomy as a way for measuring students understanding about the materials that they have learned. That was my explanation of Bloom Taxonomy that I have got from this meeting.
Then for differentiated instructions, in this part the students are learning the same content or materials but the teacher has different way to deliver the materials. The teacher should know about the student’s ability for understanding the material. It will help the teacher to deliver the materials because we know that each student have their own ability for understanding the materials. Then, I am still confused about the 3 important parts of teaching because I just wrote two parts, there were the aspect of teaching, the method of teaching and the other one I forgot it. So I still want to know about the last important part in learning process.
Today session was interesting because I can reflect myself in Micro-teaching process in this class. I can share my opinion about my part in group work, such as what I have done for my group. I remember one sentence from this meeting that really meaningful for me. That is “to work in a group work is not easy, we have to believe in our member’s team”. I will always remember this sentence. From now, I will try my best for working in a group work because I did not want to make my friends disappointed because of my works.
Actually, today session meets my expectation. I hope someday I will hope a reflection or feedback about my micro-teaching and then Ms. Ine makes it real. I can share my opinion and comment for my micro-teaching group and that was really interesting. After that, I did not have much expectation for the next meeting. I just want to know and get new knowledge from this subject to increase my teaching ability. I know from this subject I can learn many things that can help me to increase my teaching ability. So, in the future I will never make my students disappointed of my teaching method in the class.

  1. Hi, Dwi :) It's a simple writing but understood enough. The first thing that I would like to ask is do you use the different font in your writing because I see that the font is different, there is small and big font :)

    the other thing is I would like to confirm that is it true that Differentiated Instruction is consists of multiple intelligences and Bloom's Taxonomy ?? Let's do recheck about this. What I know about this is they are different.

    The last is, for me after we run for almost a half semester, what I get from this course (PETA course)there are sooooo many important things to create effective and successful teaching (and learning process), in your opinion (pure your opinion), please mention 3 the most important things in effective teaching! Again, please mention based on your own perspectives :)

    yeey your reflection really help me to increase my understanding in the last topic in PETA class. you mention all the things that you got in the last meeting such as the definition of differentiated instruction, blooms taxonomy, and multiple intelligences.

    I want to ask something to you, you give the almost same example between the use of differentiated instruction and multiple intelligences in the classroom. can you give me the different of them?

    for the grammar you often miss the past tense in your reflection. Be carefully and check again. Thank You.
