Yesterday PETA’s class was
different. There was no topic that discussed. The class was going with
presenting the mini lesson plan. From the presentation I have learned about applying
topics which already discusses in previous meetings. Such as, applying classroom
based assessment, implementing effective teaching and learning.
I have clearly understood about
how to implement effective teaching and learning. I could understand clearly
because my friends presentation could make the others pay attention and looks
excited, so I thought if the practice was in the real classrooms the students
would pay attention and possible to have an opportunity to understand towards
the topic. And it is useful for me if I became an educator someday. I could use
it as my tips and tricks to manage the class that taught. When I came to the
class, and the class situation was noisy, I could use some expression to make
the students quiet. Such as “be quite please”. And then I would start the
lesson with burning up activity, so the students would be attracted for the
next part.
But there was a part that I am
not sure to understood, it was giving clear instructions because I thought
instructions would be relative. Even the teacher gave the instructions clearly
and specific it might some students still did have about what the teacher asks,
so I am not sure that giving once instruction makes the task walks well.
For this session was out of my
expectation because I thought the situation would be formal likes
micro teaching. So everyone will be totally pay attention for the one who have a
presentation. But the fact did said so, some of my friends did pay attention.
I thought the class was not
interesting. Because actually I got a big pressure in PETA’s class. I just have
so many branches when I thought something, but I could not express it. I came
to the class but that was not me in that class. I have a big hope, that I could pass
the class well.
This post's good Abi, but I think for the instructions, you can asked the teacher which is miss Ine if you didn't understand, because I think instruction is sensitive when it comes to certain mark, I mean that sometimes we have to listen carefully to the instruction because maybe that instruction is the key of certain mark, for example like this class blog, if you didn't understand about the instruction, don't get wrong if you get bad mark because of it.
