Sixth Reflection PETA

In the previous meeting of PETA, we had a reflection
about our previous micro teaching. We were all evaluated as the aspect of
contents, way of performance, techniques, time management, and so on. From the
sharing session, I got a lot of new things. Miss Ine said there are three most
important part in learning which are, objective, assessment and activities. As a
teacher candidate we have to aware with all of the prepation such as, lesson
plan, material, technologies, assessment and etc.
After we had a discussion, we learned about new
model of instruction beside of four models that I have learned before in PETA
class. The model named as differentiated instruction that include of multiple
intelligences and Bloom’s taxonomy. In my
opinion differentiated instruction is giving a different instruction to several
of students because each students have different intelligences. The teacher have
to know about the student’s ability for understanding the material. It will
help the teacher to deliver the materials because we know that each student
have their own ability for understanding the materials. I have understood about
the multiple intelligences that consist of Verbal Linguistic, logical mathematics,
visual spatial, interpersonal and other intelligences. From the explanation I know that it is
possible if human have more than one intelligence. In my understanding, Bloom
Taxonomy as a way for measuring students understanding about the
materials that they have learned.
In my opinion, the previous meeting
was very interesting because I could learn and share with others and also
reflect to myself what I have done in micro teaching. Through mistakes that
have been we evaluate together, I also could make it as one of the reference so
that I would not do the same mistake in my future teaching. The meeting
has meet my expectation because we do a sharing session and Miss Ine give
comment toward our micro teaching. I hope the next meeting will give me new
things that can enrich my knowledge.
