Micro-teaching and Multiple Intelligence
In the previous meeting on PETA I learn about Micro-teaching and Differentiated Instruction that focus on Multiple Intelligence. In the meeting I did not get new things because actually micro-teaching have already done by most of us but we were still have one group to present their micro teaching. Multiple intelligence is the material that already I got too on some course before.
However the meeting was meaningful for me because Miss Ine gave us the feedback of our micro-teaching and Putri’s group make me remember to my previous micro-teaching. Based on Miss Ine’s feedback what I mark is when we do micro-teaching we should consider the assignment for students whether it is related with the objective or not. Assignment is not only about creative, innovative or sophisticated assignment but also we have to consider the objective that we have to achieve. It is what I understood clearly on micro-teaching session.
In the MI session I understood all the things on it I know the multiple intelligence that can be had by human. I know it is possible for human have more than one intelligence and I believe that intelligences can be learned and grown by human. However I still cannot think about various activities for facilitating students multiple intelligences in their learning. Maybe it needs time to consider multiple intelligence as the factor of my teaching. I mean I should learn more and teach more for using differentiate instruction and caring students’ intelligence.
Although it was not my first time learning MI but I still interest with this thing. I am still confused and need more practice to teach with consideration of students’ MI. This part is so meaningful for my future as teacher because start from now I can think about what is the best way of teach for my students.
The meeting met my expectation because Miss Ine give feedback to us and I know what I should improve for the next micro-teaching start from time allocation, starting and finishing the class until assignment. I hope the next meeting will always give me new things that can enrich my skill in teaching.
