PETA Reflection
the Fifth
Last Friday on
PETA course, I did the Microteaching for the first time with my group. The
grouping has been made in the previous meeting before midterm exam. Then during
the mid test week, we arranged a lesson plan. In making the lesson plan, I got
some lessons like coordination with each member, responsibility of the role in
member, also improving our capability in creating a lesson plan.
Time for
applying the lesson plan into microteaching, I was nervous. In that meeting, I
learnt how I conduct the lesson in a team. It was quite difficult to divide the
role or turn of each member. Other hands, I think there is no something new in
that session. I just applied what I have learnt since the first meeting.
Due to
microteaching in that last Friday, I only understood how to prepare all the
things. I have not understood completely yet in developing the lesson plan and
decide whether it is effective or not. I have to learn more, and recall what I
have got especially in effective learning part.
I think my first
microteaching was interesting. I have a lot of experience from this session. Furthermore,
it is so meaningful to me. It is like my practice, exercise, or even simulation
before teaching in a real condition. Since the beginning of this meeting, my
priority expectation was no nervous at all, but in fact I was nervous. I hope
in the next session especially in the next microteaching I could control my
nervous.
I agree with you that micro-teaching is very meaningful for us as candidate of educator. However, I wanna ask to you about the effectiveness. Have you find the meaning of effective teacher in your experience when you were teaching that involve in SEP or in micro-teaching?
BalasHapusThanks ani..
;)
Well, Micro-teaching is always interesting in my opinion.
BalasHapusGood writing Ani, in my opinion, you have done enough reflection through this writing. I just want to comment about the content. Maybe you can refer to the guideline that given because from what i have saw, some of the guiding questions didn't answered. Maybe you can refer to that guiding questions for the next writing. In my opinion.
Thank you Ani ^_^
