Micro teaching
Today,
I do the micro teaching. For me, micro teaching is new thing because I haven’t do
micro teaching before. Why I can say that? Because micro teaching is a teaching
activity that involves some teacher candidates to give lessons in the
classroom. I usually do teaching by myself or with one partner, but now I have
to cooperate with some friends to teach in front of the class. Besides that, I
made the lesson plan before dong the micro teaching. So, teacher candidates have
to make plan before they give the lessons or topic to students in the
classroom. Being cooperated with some friends in teaching is not easy.
Probably,
it can help me to make the lesson plan easily. In the other hand, it also makes
me little bit upset and confused. For example, I have to share the duty part
with four people and I felt upset when they work was not same with my expectation
and when my work cannot make them feeling satisfy, etc. That are things that
can made me little upset at the time, but I know all the experience give me
good lessons. So, I have to practice more and more before doing the
micro teaching because it looks easy but it is very hard for me.
From this activity,I
clearly understood about the difficulties to be a teacher. I know that
micro teaching only the practice process to be a real teacher, but I realize I
have to make a good cooperate with other teacher in teaching and developing the
lessons later. Of course I will not teach with some teachers in one classroom
later on, but I have to make a good cooperate with other English teacher in
certain school to make and teach the lesson. From this case, I clearly
understood that being a teacher is not easy as I thought before.
Luckily,
I haven’t any problem with this topic. The topic activity is clear enough and
easy to understand. The most difficult things for me only make a great deal in
doing micro teaching activity. I have intention to be more cooperate with other
in that activity, so there isn’t any miss communication and other mistake. The lesson today is very interesting, because
I can study much to become the teacher. I also realize that I still have many
weaknesses in teaching, such as feeling nervous, giving unclear explanation,
and making wrong pronunciations. That is why I have to make myself better in
order I can give the best for my students in the future.
From
all material this is most meaningful and challenging topic for me. In this
topic I really have to control the class condition and respect to other
teachers’ candidates. This topic is meaningful for me because it gives me many
lessons and experiences in teaching activity. This topic also makes me know my
weaknesses in teaching, so I still need more improvement for that activity.

BalasHapusI think it is normal if we (not only you)getting nervous and make some mistake in the first time we did micro teaching. This is learning process. The important thing for all is practice. Trough practice, practice and practice we can improve our teaching ability. So, don't be upset with your first step. we learn together here.

BalasHapusI am little confused about the grammar that you used. Based on my understanding, we have to use past tense to make the reflection. I saw in your reflection, you use present tense in the first paragraph.
FYI Yuti, it might be better if you use those are things not that are thing. Based on my understanding, if we want to say plural things, we should use those not that.

yap, I agree with Muiz, Yuti, your writing is so clear and I can see your point in your ideas. however, it should use simple past tense in making the reflection, because you reflected something that you have done in the past. maybe you wrote it strightly after the class, so that you felt like the things that you wrote were present. is it right?
