Today, I have learned about
1 new method beside of 4 methods that I have learned before that is
Differentiated Instruction. What I have understand about differentiated
instruction is an assessment in the classroom that different for each group. In
differentiated instruction there are 2 main points that must be get more
attention by the teacher. Those are multiple intelligences and Bloom’s
Taxonomy. These 2 points are not new for me since I have learned the multiple
intelligences in Educational Psychology and Bloom’s Taxonomy in LTM or English
Structure. The new thing that I learned from these 2 points are the relation
with differentiated instruction. The relation is to decide the appropriate
differentiated instruction, we have to consider that there are many diversity
in the classroom (means that each student have their own uniqueness) and also
the way of thinking that want to be achieved by the students (Bloom’s Taxonomy)

what you have learned today, which parts have you understood clearly? Please
explain.
I think all of the parts of
the lesson, I understood clearly, from the Microteaching’s reflection until the
material itself. I really excited with the material so I understood it quickly.

what you have learned today, which parts have you not understood completely?
Please explain. What will you do about that?
There is no part that I
didn’t understand. So for the next session, I will be preparing about the next
material that will be given to me by Ms. Ine.

you think the today’s session was interesting? Please explain.
Yes, of course. From the
first time, I really don’t understand about Differentiated Instruction, but
after Ms. Ine explain it, I understand what Differentiated Instruction is.
· Do
you think what you have learned today is meaningful to you as a teacher
candidate? Please explain.

First that we must consider as the teacher
candidate is student’s intelligence is not one, they are unique by themselves
and we as teacher candidate use that opportunity to give appropriate assessment
that accommodate their capacity

Second, but still, many teachers are ignore
this concept and give same assessment to all students. This is what happen with
my experience as a student. My comment about this is I am bored, and sometimes
I wanted something new from my teacher but it never happened
·
Third, it is hard to apply Differentiated
Instruction in the classroom because it is very hard to accommodate minimum 30
students in the classroom that each of them has their own intelligences. Well,
this is a challenge for me to apply this method.

you think the today’s session meets your expectation? Please explain.
For
the first time, I didn’t know about the content of today’s session, but I think
Ms. Ine has give what I wanted as a learner that is to understand the principle
of being effective teacher.
· What
do you expect for the next session?
I cannot guess what will be
given for the next session, but I hope Ms. Ine can give something new again for
us. Not only new material but new way of teach maybe. ^_^

BalasHapusI'm a little bit confused reading your writing. What I know reflective journal is written in paragraph or essay format. And in my opinion, your writing is not reflective journal, it is like answer sheet when you answer some questions. Ok, this is just my opinion anyway.
That's awesome if you can clearly understand about all the topic and content that we have discussed. I just want to know your statement relate to last week session.
After you know what is multiple intelligences, Bloom's Taxonomy and Differentiated Instruction what will you do with these three things in your teaching ?? Do you have any suggestion or can you propose an activity which is effective and meaningful relate to this topic ?? Thank you :) Keep writing :)
