My Sixth Reflection of PETA
This is my sixth reflection of PETA. I was very happy
when I had a presentation of my micro teaching group. We were the last group.
We have prepared our presentation the previous day but we felt that our
performance still needed to be improved. We felt so nervous when facing our
friends as our students. I did hope that they (my friends) can cooperate well
toward our teaching.
We thought about report text at the time. We
served about one of wild animal in this world called Collored Piccary. The
process of our teaching performance run smoothly. The thing that made us happy
is that we could cover the material as well as our expectation. Our students
also supported our teaching. But still, we felt so nervous so that we sometime forgot
a little part of our serving material.
Then we had an evaluation of whole presentation. We were all evaluated as the aspect of contents, way of performance, techniques, time management, and so on. I got more knowledge, experiences, and understanding about how to serve our best in out teaching. I thought that even we work in group in presenting our teaching, there still something hard especially in our management of material and time.
After that, we got an explanation about Bloom’s Taxonomy. It is related to the level of students’ in learning. The first is remember up to the sixth, create. All the things are the level of students’ domain in learning.
The thing that I still need to dig up is about the
implementation of all the knowledge I got from PETA. To implement those well I believe
that it needs a process and effort of practicing continously. I’m glad to have
PETA class. We can integrate our theory of teaching become a reality.

Nice writing Revy, because you use command words. So, the reader can be easy to understand about your idea in every sentences.
BalasHapusIn your statement "I thought that even we work in group in presenting our teaching, there still something hard especially in our management of material and time". How you deal with that condition? Is there any solution?
Overall, I still want to know about your reflection in this class. Almost all of the sentences that you used in this reflection give me questions in my mind. I feel difficult to understand what you will do next? what you have learned then? so on and so on.
Thank you
