Reflection today (2^nd of Nov’2012)

            Today is special day for me, because today I have learnt about model of instruction. From this session I can know some of some of instruction that usually use in the classroom. Those instruction are applicable in the class, I have found it in my learning from the time I began to study until this moment.  Such as Direst Instruction, group interaction, guided discovery and also Lecture Discussion. I know that those are not new in class, but I really like to learn deeply in this session. First, I have not known about the instruction names and the details. Second, I want to know what kind of instruction that I have found in class when I was studying. Third, I want to apply it in my learning and teaching process in future.

            In this session I am not so excited in learning, because in the classroom my friends and I did not get enough time to learn deeply because Ms. Inne was late around 30 minutes. It made us only have 2 hours in this session. Like usual my lecturer divided us become some group, I got group that had to explain about guided discovery. It is a method that the teacher becomes scaffolding for the students, there is also open-ended phase, and in the last phase the students are asked to practice it in real life.

            I think this session is very important for us as the future teacher. Unfortunately we have to look for deeply by ourselves without my lecturer guidance. I really expect the next session we can learn more deep and clearly about the topic.
