The
last activities in PETA course were interesting. For the first meeting I was
very happy when Ms. Ine recognized my face because of my performance in the
drama. Then Ms. Ine gave the opportunity to my friend to introduce their selves
one by one. The first assignment that was given by Ms. Ine was sharing with my
friends about the inspiring teacher in senior high school. I was very
enthusiastic when I did sharing session. I think it was interesting session for
me because I could share about my wish teacher to my friends.
The
next activity was group work and discussion. Ms. Ine gave the topic about an
effective teacher. Based on activity I could know from my friends’ flip chart about
effective teacher such as creative, humble, have good manner, etc. It was my
understanding about effective teacher that I had learned from my friends. I am
as the teacher candidates have to implement those criteria to be a good and
effective teacher in the future. That session was interesting also for me
because I did not only learn from my lecturer but I also could learn from my
friends. That was wonderful condition for me.
I
am as the teacher candidate should apply the list of the effective teacher that
my friends had written down in the flip chart. I think that day I had not find
my expectation of this course. Before I joined PETA course, I expected that I
will get assignment to make kind of assessments. But I was wrong because of
that day was first meeting, so the activities were just introduction and
sharing with others. But it was the interesting first meeting for me and I
enjoyed that session.
My
expectation for the next session like as I want to know how to create the good
assessment for my students in the future, because this course is very important
to me as the teacher candidate. The effective teacher in my mind is about a
teacher that has good skill to create assessment for the students and have good
method in teaching. Through this course I expect to understand more about how
to be a figure in my future as the teacher. Also for the next session I expect
to be active in speaking and giving opinions when I do a group discussion.

BalasHapusFirst, I would like too suggest you to reread and do editing in (y)our writing, because I still find unconsistency of word using like "as a teacher candidates" (paragraph 2 line 4) I think it supposed to be "candidate" :)
anyway, that's true that become an effective teacher there are a lot of things that we should pay attention :) hopefully our espectation about this course can be fullfilled :)
