   Teaching is one of important activity in learning process. Teaching is a noble activity. Being a teacher as not simple as I think before. We have to know the character of the students itself. That is why we learn about educational psychology. I have already learned about educational phsychology but to aplly when I am teaching in the class, once more it is not easy for me. We should control our emotional and try to understand the situation in the class.

   Before I get the class “Language Teaching Methodologies” and PETA (Principle of Effective Teaching and     Assessment. Both of them surely related each other. I am really not understand what approach, method and technique are. I never think about that kind of words when I am teaching in front of my students. I just let it flows, that is my basic concept in teaching. Finally, I realize that I need a set of assumptions to deal with nature language, it called by approach. Approach is  a kind of what I believe in teaching process. Approach usually use to get close with the student. After, I already known about approach, I  should know the method is. The method is  an overall plan for systematic arrangement of language based on selecting approach. For making approach and method in harmony, we use technique in teaching process. The result of this, our way in teaching more conceptualize to get an effective teaching process in the class.

   I agree with this word “ A good teacher was a good person”.
Based on my interpretation of this, being a teacher is very challanging for me. I have to be a proffesional not only focus on one student  but also to all the student no matter what because teacher has an important role to educate the nation. Teacher should be a good model for the students.

    One of a good teacher is an effective teacher. How to be an effective teacher by applying three aspects such as teacher’s personality, teacher’s attitude, teacher’s performance. Personality are friendly, honest, generous, and etc. Teachers should be fulfill this requirement to be an effective teacher. Based on Levis (1987) although certain interpersonal, emotional, and coping behaviors are believe to be required in effective teaching, personally tested have provided few insights into positive social behavior that may be needed for effective teaching.

   Teacher’s attitude is one of the key to be an effective teacher. An effective teacher has to master in giving good attitude to the student. Being polite and respect to the studentsby giving them motivation as soon as possible. Give them a good chance to improve their ability. Never says bad words to them. And the last to be a an effective teacher, I must be concern to our performance before teaching in the class. We might be use technology to support our ability in teaching, and don’t forget to use a tidy clothes, once again we are a model of our students. So, give them a good model.

  In short, being an effective teacher who give an effective teaching is not easy. We have to become  a smart teacher, combine the method, techniques, personality, attitude in harmony. Of course, we can not avoid human’s error, that is mean we are a great long-life learner. Let be an inspire teacher  by giving an effective teaching, because Indonesia waiting for us !
