2nd Reflection PETA

                       Being an effective teacher is very important for a teacher and students. Both of them need effective learning in the class. Last week, Ms. Ine asked us to watch the video about an effective teacher who teaches Tematik lessons in Madrasah elementary school. Tematik is studying some lessons with one theme.  I thought the teacher is in that vidio enough effective to manage her class. The class level I in that video is about one until third class elementary school.

                        The teacher can open the class well. The teacher did warming up with asking the students about their activity which is related with the theme of subject. They studied about number, plants, and color with Plants theme. They learned about subject starting with pick up the Rambutan in back school field. After that, the students counted the Rambutan and mentioned the color of that Rambutan.

                       In this learning process, the students can study and understand affectively.  The good point is when teacher describing the lessons with the story. In telling the story the teacher just describes it without make an interaction with the students. I thought this is the bad point in this learning process. The teacher must encourage the students with asking the question, answering the question, make a group discussion, and get their attention.

                     However, this video has strong and weak point. As teacher candidates we have to score it wisely. Being an effective teacher is not easy, but with believe and effort I trust my self to be an effective teacher.
