Reflection ~ Thematic

                The last meeting about on PETA course is about thematic. What is thematic, I do not know what is that. I thought that is the brother of mathematics but when the time came, finally I know thematic Is that.

From the video that was shown, I realized that thematic is the smart subject that taught by teacher. More than one subject that taught by teacher in one time. That is so smart. But I noticed there is some part that actually teacher can used it effectively.

The first part is about grouping the students. Teacher can use groups as tool she elaborate the learning. She can use group for making assessment or teacher can let the student for doing discussion about the subject.

The second part is about story telling. I thought teacher can make story telling more interesting for students. For example, the teacher can make direction to students for continuing the story after the teacher make a direction and give the picture to them. So, students can use and develop their imagination and unconsciously they learn speaking based on picture.

 I think being a teacher mean being a creative and a ‘thinking-always’ people. For keeping me on fire, I keep on mind that being a teacher is like being a gamer and the goal is make student learn and the path is learning process.
