This is the first reflection of PETA course, in the first meeting I learn about what is PETA and what is the function of this course for the learning process. I learned a lot in this meeting because Bu Ine taught us something new, that we never get before like learned how to be a good teacher, and how to be affective teacher.
In the first section Bu Ine asked us about our Inspiring and not Inspiring teacher that we ever got before. I have some of Inspiring teachers from my junior high school, I learned a lot from them how to get student's heart and how to teach effectively. One of the most inspiring teacher I ever had is Ms. Debby, she is a marvelous teacher because she can touch student heart and make us interested to learn, she teach by make a game, simple explanation and many other interesting teaching method. I want to be a teacher like her because she can get student attention and can teach well and students can understand her lesson well.
The second activity we do is we learned about the criteria of good and affective teacher. Bu Ine asked us to make some groups of students to discuss about how the criteria of affective teacher is. We shared about what we think on good and affective teacher criteria are. After the discussion end, we did gallery walk to see what other groups think about the criteria. After the gallery walk session end, we find that we found some similarities from another groups. we found that affective and good teacher criteria are active, discipline, humble, attractive, smart, punctual, and have good self and time management.
Those are what I learns in the PETA course first meeting, I hope it is useful for us. Thanks.

by the way, what subject did your inspiring teacher taught?
it's the same with me, my inspiring teacher is my English teacher in my junior high, she liked to give games and explained the materials with concrete example, so I could understand easily.
