Teacher?
Educator?
It was a simple, but extraordinary.
First class in PETA, I could not express many things. It
made me speechless and hard to give command. It was not about the course
actually, but because of this course I got new feeling about educator. Actually
I still did not have any feeling about the soul of an educator, but there was
something feeling different when I followed the flow of class.
In the PETA class, there were activities such
as identify and analyze how we are, described, discussed, and reflected
about the favorite and the un-favorite teacher in our previous school. Then everybody
has own uniqueness and inspiring. The discussing did not to tell and talk about negative thing, but how to response with those kind of facts in real situation.
After that, my friends and I were going to make a list
teacher characters and give feedback. However we were still learning, we had to
learn as much as possible what the effective teacher is. After discussing this
part, I thought that there were many kinds of style to teach. As a new educator
generation, I should be wise to determine what I would do later on as an educator.
So, it made like correction.
Those kind of activities description in PETA class that
really interesting. Later on I hope I could know more and get deeper how effective teacher is and apply it.
In the other hands, educator or teacher is a choice.
Actually, educator is the big part and teacher is part of an educator. I should
decide the appropriate approach, methods and techniques to apply materials in
teaching learning before coming to the class. In addition, attitude, manner,
and appearance should be understood carefully. The most important thing is not
to be different person with teaching exploration, but to be better and try to be myself.

I like your bold sentence in your reflection "The most important thing is not to be different person with teaching exploration, but to be better and try to be myself." I'm agree with you. Actually, I feel shy (and also nervous) to speak in front of the classroom. Sometimes it makes me to be another person. But now, I try to be better, do not feel shy again, and be the real of me. Come on we must be collaboration to make our students be better in everything like manner, knowledge, skills and moral. Keep spirit up, my friend ! :D

Yeah, to be better is not easy. It needs hard work to catch little by little.
:) your writing explain about my feeling too :) and I agree with your opinion "become an educator or teacher is a choice", same like my writing, I wrote that someone who choose or called become an educator should do their best to educate with their best, creative, and their unique way of teaching , or not at all :)
BalasHapusthe things that I thing need to do is I think we should do editingfor more than twice, I found word "command" which you mean "comment" I think (line 5), and other words structure. But over all, I like your writing because it's easy to understand :)

Ya, I think there is still mistakes on my writing. But thank you for you corrections. Actually it helps me a lot.
Indeed, being effective is not about changing the way we are, but trying adapt with the changing world. Simple but a meaningful one, keep writing !
